Why the town matters

A small site is worth more locally than nationally

A national advertiser will not pay much for a thousand readers. The hardware store two streets away might — if it knows the readers are on its streets. That is the whole idea, and it is why the form asks where your audience is rather than how big it is.

An advertiser can buy a country, a state, or one town. A campaign set to one town only appears on sites that said their readers are in it.

Text only. Nothing animates, nothing expands, nothing follows a reader anywhere.
No cookies and no tracking of people. The network counts which advertisement was shown on which site. That is all it knows.
You may switch off any allowed category as well, and never see it.

Ten dollars, once

If your site is accepted there is a one-time ten dollar fee. It pays for a person to actually look at the site. It is not refundable and it does not come off what you earn.

Most networks do not charge publishers anything, and that is a fair thing to hold against us. Here is the reason we do: without it, every empty site built to farm advertising applies, and the review is the whole product.

Nothing is charged now. You are asked only if the site is accepted, and you can walk away at that point.

Or pay nothing and carry one of our advertisements

Instead of the ten dollars, run one of our own advertisements free for six months. It costs you a slot rather than money.

The catch, so nobody finds it out later: while it runs you cannot deny our advertisements on that site. You still accept or deny every paying advertiser one by one, exactly as normal.

If your site has only one slot, that slot is ours for six months and you cannot sell it. With two or three slots it costs you very little.
